Military Families

Viera Charter School values the military families and students that become a part of our Panther family.  Throughout the year we do various activities such as Purple Up! Day, Month of the Military Child, Veterans Day activities and a bulletin board display of our Panther Military Families.

Viera Charter School provides various clubs throughout the school year.  Some examples of our clubs are chess, crochet, and chorus.  We also provide morning or afternoon tutoring through each grade level on campus.

Our Athletics program is one of the top in Brevard county.  We provide various programs for all grade levels K-8.  A few examples are cheerleading, basketball, volleyball and track and field.

Club and Athletic information can be provided through the registrar and the MPOC contacts.

At Viera Charter we have a student led transition team on campus to mentor new incoming military students to our Panther family.  This team guides them through the daily activities at school as well as ensuring they know their way around our campus.  They also assist with the culture of the school and inform them of the various activities that happen during the school day as well as after-school events and athletics.

April is our Military Child Celebration Month.  Some of the things we do are to have the students assist with decorating the Military Bulletin board and introduce new Military themed books in the library.  We also celebrate with our 4th and 5th grade concert in November “Salute to Veterans”.
