Basketball - Spring Grades K-4
K - 4th Grade Basketball Flyer
- Cost: $125 per player
- This will be payable on myschoolbucks.com once your child has been selected for a team. Once selected for a team and uniforms are ordered, the fee is non-refundable.
- Number of Teams: We will have up to 3 teams per grade levels (K, ½, ¾).
- Practice Days/Times: Practice days will depend on the coaches’ schedules.
- Practice Location: Kindergarten and 1st/2nd grade will practice on the elementary side basketball courts, since these are the only baskets that are low enough. 3rd/4th will practice in the gym on regular height rims.
- Pickup Location: All teams will pick up in the east car loop, closest to the school board and VHS.
- All team members must complete the Athletic Clearance and receive a cleared email before they are able to be put in the lottery- PARTICIPATION PACKET - Viera Charter School.
- Communication on making the team: Once chosen an email will go out to the parent email listed. It will have the coach’s information and the TeamReach app code where the coach will communicate with parents. The athletic website will be updated with names of players once teams are chosen.
- Games - Kindergarten and 1st/2nd grade will be played on Saturdays at Indian Harbour Montessori and Pineapple Cove West Melbourne. 3rd/4th grade will be played during the week and on Saturdays at HT, PCWM, Calvary, PC Lockmar and VCS.
- Dates of Season - Games will begin the week before or after Spring Break and will end the 1st or 2nd week of May.
Due to an overwhelming number of registrations, we have reached the maximum number of players for our teams. Emails will be sent out this week to families whose children have been placed on a team. All additional students who registered will be placed on a waitlist.
